- 11/11/20241/5I've purchased many stylish and good quality clothing items for my family from JCPenney online. I hope that the business thrives and continues to offer great products. However and unfortunately, the "customer service" at this location is more like customer disservice and disrespect. On the rare occasion that I need to return something that doesn't fit or work for some reason, I've visited this location three times. I can't believe that I've actually put myself and my kids through this experience. It gives me so much anxiety, which I generally do not experience when returning items with a receipt. I am "greeted" with a look of disdain every time. I am basically ignored and any actual conversation is monotone and condescending. There is no human warmth or even professional decency. I am not sure what the issue is, whether the employees are treated poorly or what. Yet, it doesn't justify this treatment. Makes me not want to buy anything online unless I can make it to Fairfield in the unfortunate case of a return, or unless I know something will for sure work (which isn't a guarantee, even with items that I've previously purchased as sizes and styles sometimes vary).
