They get two stars because when we did get help she was super friendly. - 12/3/20241/5Received a called from their associate Jay from their photography studio who had a sarcastic undertone about my pet session, I had booked for a mid day appointment for Friday. They called on a Tuesday letting me know it needed to be the last appointment for the day. (Which was understandable) however I had expressed that I did not see that on the website when I booked. Jay then stated “you’ll be surprised what you’ll see when you read the website” ! Excuse me, that comment was unwarranted especially when I wasn’t rude or sarcastic to him ! Highly disappointed in the customer service received. - 11/23/20241/5Visited this JCP for the first time a few weeks ago, me and my partner looked around and then paid for all our items. Before leaving we stopped at the cosmetics section to smell a cologne and there was not a single employee there to help. we looked for 5 mins, we only tested ONE cologne tester and then left but before we could exit the store we were stopped by a women who came out of a side door to ask if we were at the fragrance area and ask us if we had basically stolen the sample perfume bottle. CRAZY. I was honestly so offended like what on earth JCP? no i did not steal your $35 empty tester bottle ? btw they have security strings attached and it never even went off. - 11/13/20241/5NO curbside pickup, the 2 spots are being used by shoppers inside! And it only gets worse from there. No one answers the phone when you call, so you have no idea where or how to get the item you've already paid for! You go in and ask to see a manager about the issue. You'll be sent to a regular checkout desk- that they claim is customer service (no CS sign) where a black woman says she's a manager(she is not!) and laughs at you for being mad about the lack of curbside pickup! Horrible way to treat a paying customer! STOP offering things you don't have which is curbside pickup, customer service, & competent staff! Worst shopping experience EVER! Filled with attitude and highly disgruntled, the managers and staff - it pains them to help anyone or honor any corporate promotion - why bother working there if you hate your job? I did not realize I was one day over the 60 day return policy. I was told there was nothing they could do and was turned away. I wasn't even offered a store credit. I have worked retail management all of my life and know that exceptions can be made. Today I verified my address upon an employee request for my rewards account and after going through my current address with the employee a confirmation screen popped up where I thought I was verifying my address for rewards but as I read further it was signing me up for a credit card if I pressed the green confirm button. - 9/9/20241/5I went to take a newborn session. The pictures were ridiculous The lady was mean unprofessional and sick. The lady (Big Lady With glasses and Blue eyes) was coughing on my two week newborn & My baby is sick now. On top of that The pictures look like I took them on my phone. She was very rude from the beginning, telling me that she The kids had to be sitting . All the pictures she took Of the family, My mouth was open and the kids And their eyes were closed She didn’t even tell me when she was going to start I told Her and she told me that She felt bad, but she didn’t even check the picture, She was rushing and she still charging me the Extended picture section. Pictures of my newborns feet She cut off the toes. Don’t recommend . All she did was repeat the same pictures and put them in black-and-white. She took like 20 pictures And only one picture came out nice.
